Part of the fun that is safari is getting to other venues. As the distance from The Cavern to The Hilton is not really short, especially in pumpin’ platforms, some people opted to catch the tram down King William Street.

Others chose to escort the Don Dunstan Young Achiever award on foot to The Hilton.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year. Now I can face looking at a computer again, it’s time to pick up where we left off. Below are some photos from after the safari photo shoot at The Cavern. The Cavern has some quite makeshift go-go cages and as we were to find out, some people might need a lesson or two in dismounting from these cages.

Winks had a fine old time showing us how it’s done but ended up in accident and emergency at the Royal Adelaide with a gash on his leg. The staff at the hospital got to have a good laugh at his circumstances and outfit while stitching him up. Winks will forever remember this safari.
